I wish I knew more about hockey, so I could get a really cool discussion started on here about the game. Y'know, something beyond "OMG I'M SOO EXCITED LOLZ!!"
All silliness aside, I think it's going to be a fun trip, and some exciting hockey. Frankly, I think it'll be cool to see a team we don't play all that often.
Thoughts? |

heh, it's "sweep," marty, not "sweet." anyway, i honestly think the 'cats can take at least one game. they played very well against toronto, and looked very comfortable with each other, they had good chemistry. this can often be more important than actual talent in the beginning of the season, so, it's a great sign. also, they were extremely physical against toronto, so, i'm hoping that even if they don't win a game, they literally beat wisconsin down. the only worry i have from saturday's game is our discipline. we took far too many penalties, and i fear that that will be fatal against wisconsin. on the upside, uw lost many players during the offseason to graduation and/or the pros(-ish). hopefully, they haven't meshed quite yet, and we take full advantage of that. aside from that, we just need a good elliott voodoo doll and we'll be golden |
