In Wind Ensemble, if we wind up having one, I would LOVE to play Lincolnshire Posy. I think Grainger is excellent. I just wish we did more! |

Donald Erb - Symphony for Winds (the master colorist's finest hour)
Lubos Fiser - Report (need a great picc trumpeter)
Donald Grantham - Southern Harmony (cool variations on old time hymns)
David Kechley - Restless Birds Before the Dark Moon (good sax concerto!)
Timothy Mahr - The View from the Mountaintop (simply gorgeous)
David Maslanka - A Child's Garden of Dreams (such imagination and craft!)
Stephen Melillo - The Fountainhead (kinda cheesy at times but beautiful never the less)
Richard Peaslee - Arrows of Time (trombone concerto with jazz influences)
Eric Whitacre - Equus (intense and breathtaking)
Dream concert....*drools* |
