Hey everyone, I'm Heather. Yes, I'm that weird little chick who carries the BIIIIIG bass drum. Yes, I should have done this introduction about two months ago. Forgive me for being a bum?

I am, in theory, a music major. I am not music ed, but rather something called a performance major. Actually, I don't even consider myself that. In the grand scale of things the one thing I really want to do is instrument repair. I am rather fascinated by taking things apart, putting them back together, and all round fixing things. I plan on going to Southeast Tech over in Minnesota here in the next couple of years to get a degree in Wood and Brasswind repair, and then I'll bum around the Midwest until I find someone to take me on as an apprentice for percussion repair. Ultimately, I'd love to specialize in the repair and custom designing/making of percussion instruments.

Some of you know that I'm pretty much a Marquette native. I've lived here for eight years now. Prior to that I lived in Menominee, MI and even before that I lived in Marinette, WI. I've been a bum who's moved a bit too much over the past years.

I have a certain passion (obsession?) with anything bass. I don't understand it, but basically if it's a low end instrument, I love it. Don't question my weirdness, just embrace it Very Happy
